Preboarding Questions
How do I know who my Preboarding Coordinator is?
You can locate the name of your Preboarding Coordinator in your Workday Onboarding Journey.
How do I know who my Hiring Leader is?
You can locate the name of your Hiring Leader in your Workday Onboarding Journey.
When will I receive my clearance letter?
Once all preboarding requirements have been met you will receive a clearance email from your Preboarding Coordinator. This should be received by Friday close of business before your start date. Don’t forget to check your spam or junk folder for this email.
If PreCheck has requested that I send other documents for verification, do I email that to my Preboarding coordinator or directly to PreCheck?
Please send any documents requested by PreCheck directly to PreCheck.
How long does it typically take for a background check to come back?
The average turnaround for a background check is about six business days.
Do I need to purchase scrubs and how do I know what color?
Yes, you will need to purchase scrubs if required for your job role. Please check the Uniform Color Chart to determine which color you will need.
Do I get paid for orientation?
Yes, you will be paid for attending orientation.
How do I obtain my employee ID badge?
Stop by Security after your health screening to have your picture taken for your employee badge. Badges are distributed on your first day onsite at your home location.

Day 1 and Day 2 Orientation Logistics
How long is Day 1 Orientation?
Day 1 Orientation is a full day. Virtual orientation will begin at 9:00 am. The virtual morning session lasts until about 11:30 am. In the afternoon, you will complete your required computer-based learning modules by 5:30 pm.
I am having trouble accessing Day 1 Orientation via the Zoom link. Can you help?

I am supposed to attend virtual orientation today, but I did not receive a Zoom Link. What are my next steps?
You can access the Zoom link at orientation.wellstar.org
How do I locate the instructions for my Day 1 afternoon online learning?
To locate instructions, view the Week 1 New Hire Guide.
Where should I report on Day 2 of orientation?
Visit Day 2 and select your facility for your Day 2 instructions.
E-Learning and Online Access
How do I activate OneID and MFA?
You must activate your OneID and MFA Accounts prior to your start date.
OneID@wellstar.org will send you an email 3 days prior to your start date with instructions. This email may be located in your spam folder.

How do I access my Wellstar email from home if I cannot get into eSource?
You can access your email by going to outlook.office365.com/mail and logging in by entering your Wellstar email address and password.
How can I tell if I completed my Workday Week 1 required learning modules?
You can confirm your completion of the modules in Workday Learning under Learning History.
Clinical Orientation
Which Workday Learning modules am I supposed to do for Clinical Orientation?
It’s important to make sure you are searching for the proper assignment, which is titled “Virtual Clinical Orientation”.

Epic Training
Do all new team members complete Epic training?
Epic training is only required for new team members who use Epic, Wellstar’s Electronic Health Record (EHR), as part of their job role.
Is Epic training virtual or onsite?
All Epic training is held virtually. Depending on your job role, you may be required either to complete self-paced computer-based learning (CBL) modules only or attend a virtual instructor-led class in addition to completing self-paced CBLs.
Where do I complete my Epic CBLs?
You will complete your Epic CBLs in Workday Learning.
If I am required to attend a virtual Epic class, is there anything I need to do beforehand?
Yes. You will be assigned foundational Epic computer-based learnings (CBL) via Workday Learning during your first week with Wellstar. These must be completed before you can attend the virtual instructor-led Epic class. You must attend using a computer and not a phone or tablet.
What if I’m running late for my Epic class?
Anyone arriving more than ten minutes late will not be allowed to attend the class and will need to reschedule for a future session. Due to the amount of material that must be covered in each class, you are required to be present during the entire duration of the class and pass the assessment administered at the end of class to receive credit for attendance.
What if I can’t attend the class on the listed day and at the listed time?
Please reach out to Epictraining@wellstar.org to reschedule.
How do I get Epic access?
The training team will submit a ticket for Epic access to be completed within 24-48 hours of the completion of training in Workday. You do not need to submit a ticket to security unless it has been greater than 48 hours post training.

I am a transfer employee. What do I need to do? Do I have to repeat orientation?

I am a re-hire and have already completed orientation. Do I have to complete it again?
You will need to complete new hire requirements again if you have been away from the organization for more than 30 days.
