Top Priorities for Preboarding
Welcome to the team! To equip you for your first day and get you set up in the system, please complete the items below to satisfy your preboarding requirements.
Required Flu Vaccination
This year, all Wellstar team members, and physicians who practice at a Wellstar facility must be vaccinated against the flu prior to your first day of employment. Visit vaccines.gov to find a convenient location. Vaccines are readily available at your local CVS, Walgreens, Publix and Kroger pharmacies. You may also elect to be vaccinated at your primary care provider.
Proof of vaccination or if you require a medical or religious, should be submitted to the ServiceNow Portal by clicking the below box.
Please note that the flu vaccine is only required between September 1st to March 31st.

Complete Preboarding in Workday
New Team Members should have received two emails containing your Workday username and a temporary password necessary for accessing the Workday platform. Once logged in, navigate to your Journey by selecting the “Awaiting Your Action” tile at the top.
Here, you will find:
- Section 1 Form I-9
- Confidentiality form
- Tax forms
- Direct deposit information
Your Preboarding Partner will schedule a video conference to assist you in completing Section 2 of the Form I-9 . Please ensure that you are prepared for this video conference session. Thank you. If required, call the HR Service Center at 470-267-1234 for assistance.
Schedule Your Drug Screening
Within 48 hours of receiving your Welcome Letter, please visit a LabCorp location or Wellstar West GA’s Outpatient Laboratory Services at 1600 Vernon Rd Suite H, LaGrange, GA 30240, to complete your pre-employment drug screen test. Click on the links provided for assistance in identifying the nearest location. When you arrive, please share the testing information included in the link below with the staff.
Dress the Part
Our uniform colors create a consistent look at all Wellstar facilities, which helps patients easily identify team members according to their role. Please order scrubs in the proper color for your job function. The uniform colors have changed as of January 24, 2022 so use the document below to determine which color you’ll need.

Background Check
Cisive will send an email with your Username and Temporary Password for the background check. Please review all personal information for accuracy (including D.O.B./SSN), and ensure all fields are complete, including education, work history, and certifications/licensures if applicable.

Pre-Employment Health Screening
Prior to your start date, your Preboarding Partner will contact you to schedule your health screening and provide more information. Please plan for at least two hours for this appointment and remember to bring a valid form of photo identification (e.g., driver’s license). We kindly request that you refrain from bringing minors to this appointment.
- Complete the TB Screening questionnaire which is located in your Journey. This form cannot be completed >30 days prior to your start date. If your start date is >30 days away, please wait and complete within the 30-day window.
ID Badge – You will have your badge photo taken on the day of your pre-employment health screening. Please visit security to have your photo taken. Your badge will be distributed to you on your first day onsite. Please ensure you are dressed in appropriate business attire for your employee health appointment and photo.
Certifications & Licensures
- BLS – you will need to provide proof that you have attended an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course, if applicable to your position. Please let your Preboarding Partner know if you have any questions on how this applies to you. If you do not have a BLS certification issued from the American Heart Association, please visit cpr.heart.org to learn more about AHA guidelines and to find an approved training center.
- Licensure – you will need to provide proof of all applicable certifications and licenses for your role. Begin gathering all appropriate materials today.

- Your Preboarding Partner will schedule a video conference to assist you in completing Section 2 of the Form I-9. Please ensure that you are prepared for this video conference session.
- Documents must be unexpired and original – copies not accepted.
